Workers complain building maintenance company paid workers improperly, mishandled rape allegations

An investigation by KIRO-Seattle resulted in two stories detailing the mistreatment of workers at ABM, a company that provides janitorial, security, parking and other building maintenance services. Some workers at ABM have complained that the company improperly paid them. Others claim that after they were raped at work, the company either failed to report the incident to police or waited days before contacting law enforcement.

ABM has settled two class action lawsuits related to wages in the state of Washington. And in the past seven years, the company has been sued six times for sexual harassment.
