68,000 Fla. voters also registered in other states

Roger Roy and Beth Kassab of the Orlando Sentinel checked voter
registrations in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, finding that “ href="http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/elections/orl-asecdoublevote22102204oct22,1,4064542.story">more
than 68,000 cases in which voters with the same names and dates of birth
were registered in two states. In 1,650 cases, records indicate those
voters cast ballots in Florida and another state in the 2000 or 2002
elections.” The paper’s examination “suggest tens of thousands of Florida
voters also are registered to vote in another state, mostly because their
names are not removed from voting rolls when they move away.”
