Misconduct within Arcadia Police Department compromised cases

A year-long investigation by WINK-TV (Fort Myers, Fla.) into the Arcadia Police Department that found major misconduct by former Detective Deighton Bolt resulted to the dismissal of more than a dozen drug cases. Bolt’s mistakes could also affect a pending case involving an officer accused of giving drugs to and having sex with minors.
