Investigative/Multimedia journalist
News 5 is looking for an investigative/multi-media journalist to lead our 5 Uncovers division within the newsroom.
The right person is well experienced digging through paperwork, developing deep contacts to find unique stories, unafraid to ruffle feathers and unwilling to accept the same old answers from public officials.
You will live the News 5 brand: Accurate, Fast and Fair. You have filed public information requests and know where to go to find things others wish to bury. You work well in a collaborative environment and are an excellent writer. You are curious and always asking questions.
This position also requires the ability to shoot and editing stories for on-air, online and mobile platforms.
Strong on-camera presentation skills including ability to deliver live breaking news is a must.
