Kiplinger Digital Media Fellowship
Want to learn the latest digital reporting skills?
An information revolution is changing how we gather and share information. In a busy newsroom, it can be tough to stay current.
That’s why the Kiplinger Fellowship at The Ohio State University teaches you innovative digital tools and approaches – all at no cost to you.
The 25 journalists selected for the fellowship will spend April 7-12, 2013, on the Ohio State campus in Columbus. They’ll be immersed in an intensive, hands-on week of training, focused on using social media to build a following, develop sources and cover their beats. We’ll talk Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, video, deep Web searches, public records and data journalism.
And there’s more — you also have the opportunity to nominate a supervisor or colleague to take part in our three-day condensed version of the training in May.
Thanks to the generous support of the Kiplinger Foundation, all training will be free of charge — plus, we’ll give you a travel stipend and cover lodging and several meals.
