Looking for an aggressive, innovative leader for The Houston Chronicle’s six-person investigative reporting team.
We need a collaborative leader who can help our team expand its impact through strong story selection and editing. Your toolbox includes effective use of multimedia, social media and partnerships. Houston is the nation’s fourth largest city and is extremely diverse.
Our reporters dig deeply into corruption and fraud in Houston and Texas touching all aspects of our city’s energy, medical and legal workforces. As the nation’s 10th largest newspaper, we reach more Texas households than any other and frequently coordinate coverage with Hearst partners through our Washington bureau and sister newspapers in Texas, New York and California. The paper also is hiring three reporters. Contact: Steve Proctor, ME, firstname.lastname@example.org.
