The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is seeking an experienced investigative journalist to join an I-team that has won national awards as it sets the agenda for Georgia. The reporter we hire will be an aggressive self-starter who is adept at turning investigative stories off the news and who also has chops for short and long-term projects. A sophisticated knowledge of public records, including databases, is essential.  The ability to comfortably navigate on a digital multi-media platform is a huge plus. Our ideal candidate also knows how to write with authority while maintaining an unyielding commitment to fairness and accuracy.
