Investigative Reporter

Oklahoma Watch, a nonprofit journalism organization, is looking for a reporter who can produce ground-breaking stories and projects in areas such as public education, poverty and health care.

The reporter should have at least five years' experience and proven success in being able to dig out trends, develop sources, mine data and public records, and write with clarity about complex topics. He or she must be a self-starter, work with a sense of urgency, and have great instincts for finding the best, most meaningful stories to pursue. An ability to sort and analyze data in Excel is essential, and familiarity with simple data visualizations is a plus.

Our offices are located at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
