Investigative Reporter

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the largest-circulation daily newspaper in the state, is looking for an investigative reporter to join its projects team.

The ideal person will be passionate about storytelling and have a background in mining computerized data for deep-impact stories that affect everyday people.

The best candidate will be someone who is driven to excel, a self-starter who also is comfortable working as part of a team.

Applicants should have a minimum of five years of experience and a record of hard-hitting deadline reporting in addition to nondeadline investigative work.

The privately-owned Democrat-Gazette has average weekday circulation of 158,090 and 228,532 on Sundays.

Little Rock is Arkansas' largest city (pop. 195,314) with a vibrant downtown cultural scene and a variety of unique neighborhoods. Yet, outdoor activities ranging from hunting and fishing to rock climbing and hiking are within minutes of the city limits.
