Looking for experienced Investigative Journalists

If you are an experienced investigative journalist and would like to use your skills in new and novel ways, we'd like to hear from you.  The Opportunistic Value Team at The Boston Company Asset Management, LLC is looking for individuals to enhance our primary research capacity.  We are a top tier investment team that invests in public stocks and we'd like to use your skills to help drive our investment process.

Do you like problem solving?  Are you constantly asking questions? Do you have a natural curiosity for how companies work?

If so, then our Research Associate position may be right for you.  We are looking for an inquisitive individual to tenaciously track down leads to help us gain a better understanding of the businesses in which we invest.  This position is heavily research orientated and potential candidates should have innate desire to continuously delve deeper into what they are researching.  Other key attributes include:

·         Ability to seek out and investigate stories via your contacts, industry groups and other sources

·         Proficient in fact-checking and ability to absorb information quickly

·         Strong critical thinking skills

·         Ability to multitask

·         Attention to detail

·         Interest in current affairs

·         Work well alone or in a team

No financial experience is required, but candidates should have a natural curiosity about how businesses grow and thrive over time.
