Massachusetts State Reporter
CNHI's Massachusetts newspapers seek an experienced journalist to cover breaking, enterprise and investigative stories from the statehouse in Boston. The reporter will focus on original reporting for four daily newspapers and websites serving readers on the North Shore and in the Merrimack Valley.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of daily deadline journalism experience.
We're looking for someone who is resourceful and consistent in filing well-crafted stories that drive home the news and its implications to our readers. The position requires knowledge of public records and FOI laws, ability to comb databases for untold stories, and a keen sense of high-impact news. Multimedia and social media skills are helpful.
