Investigative Reporter/Associate Producer
Experienced investigative reporter/associate producer wanted to assist in developing a documentary series on ethics for PBS. This is a three-month, full-time, onsite job at our office in Cambridge, MA, with the possibility of an extension.
Duties include: investigative reporting on numerous topics, among them: public health; the environment; academia; the pharmaceutical industry, finance, lobbying and money-in-politics. You will also collate and summarize research, handle travel arrangements, do some bookkeeping and some office organization chores -- scanning documents, maintaining files, etc.
Qualifications: We require at least two years of full-time journalism experience for this position. Please do not apply if you don't have a strong grasp of federal agency databases and online reporting tools; or if you've never covered national politics. You must be willing to handle the administrative/support work -- which is about one-third of the job. Film/TV production experience is not necessary, but you should be interested in the field.
Please send resume to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put "AP job" in the subject line.
