The Executive Editor will work closely with a team of Cronkite faculty, including Leonard Downie Jr., former executive editor of The Washington Post, and Retha Hill, former vice president at BET.com, to conceptualize and plan the project and will be responsible for developing media partnerships to ensure student work gets the widest possible national distribution.
In addition, the Executive Editor will teach in-depth reporting classes during the fall and spring semesters to undergraduate andgraduate students.
