How to Enable Cookies

Here's how to enable cookies in Netscape Communicator: Go to the EDIT menu and select "Preferences". Click on "Advanced" in the lefthand box. Make sure any of the Cookies preferences are checked EXCEPT for "disable all cookies". Click on OK.

Here's how to enable cookies in Internet Explorer 5.0: Select the menu item Tools->"Internet Options..." and click on the "Security" tab. Click on the button "Custom Level..." and scroll down to the entry "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)." Set that option to either "enable" or "prompt." Click on "OK," then "Yes" to confirm, then "OK" to close the Internet Options window.

Here's how to enable cookies in Internet Explorer 4.0: Click on VIEW and then choose INTERNET OPTIONS. Scroll down to where it says COOKIES and make sure "Always accept cookies" is checked. If it's not, check it. Click on APPLY and then OK.

Here's how to enable cookies in America Online 4.0: Click My AOL, Preferences, Select WWW, then General folder, Temporary Internet Files, Settings button. Set "Check for newer versions of stored pages" to "Every visit to the page."

Here's how to enable cookies in America Online 3.0: click on PREFS and then ADVANCED. Scroll down to where it says COOKIES and make sure "Always accept cookies" is checked. If it's not, check it. Click on APPLY and then OK.
