| Summary | A WAGA-TV investigation into one of the South's most popular drinks, iced tea, found that restaurants mishandling of the beverage was causing high bacteria counts and a potential health risk to costomers. WAGA-TV gathered iced tea samples from 20 resturants and fast food chains and submitted them to an fda approved lab for testing. The tests uncovered coliform bacteria in every one of the iced tea samples. (Nov. 1 - 3, 7 Dec. 6 & 21, 1995) |
