| Summary | An investigation of the 2002 kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. The investigation found that the kidnapping and murder was a multifaceted, at times chaotic conspiracy. While only four men were convicted by Pakistani courts in the kidnapping and murder, the Pear Project has identified 27 men who played a part if the events surrounding the case. It concluded that nearly half of those implicated in Pearl's abduction-murder remain free. |
