IRE Minority Journalist Development Program
A partnership of IRE and newsrooms across the country.

Click here to see this year's winners.

In an effort to improve the training opportunities for minority journalists -- and increase the diversity at our Annual Conference -- IRE has entered into a partnership with news organizations interested in offering useful, practical training to reporters and editors typically underrepresented in the top ranks of newsrooms.

As part of the fellowship program, IRE is waiving conference fees and providing year-long memberships to these designated fellows, while the sponsoring newsrooms cover travel costs.

Newsrooms interested in working with IRE in this program should send an e-mail to fellows@ire.org.
