This workshop is being made possible in part by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York.

At this one day workshop, learn how to follow the money and its influence after the election. The workshop will emphasize money in local and state elections on the horizon, including the impact of 527 organizations at those levels. The workshop is limited to the first 50 people to register.

Optional Computer-Assisted Reporting Training will be offered the second half-day. This hands-on, computer-assisted reporting class will build data analysis skills for reporters covering money in politics. The class will use federal and state-level data, including "527" data from the IRS. Seating was limited to 20 registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellations need to be sent via e-mail to jgreen@ire.org. There is a $20 processing fee ($10 for students) for cancellations until the day before the event. Refunds will not be given for cancellations on the day of the event.
