Attend any one of these boot camps or advanced boot camps to learn how to analyze data using spreadsheets and databases, map data, or use statistical analysis in your work. Participants are encouraged to bring their own data to work on during open lab time.

Computer-Assisted Reporting Boot Camps are partially supported by the John S. & James. L. Knight Foundation.

NICAR is a joint program of IRE and the Missouri School of Journalism.

Financial assistance is available. IRE and NICAR offer special fellowships to minority journalists and for journalists at small news organizations for the boot camps. The fellowships cover tuition and most of travel and lodging costs.
