Make the jump from writer/producer to on-camera reporter. Learn in-depth reporting and storytelling techniques from some of the best in the TV-news business. A limited enrollment of twelve insures everyone will receive individual attention.
This hands-on workshop is aimed at younger journalists and print journalists who want on-camera experience. We encourage veteran journalists to share this information about this opportunity with anyone they are mentoring.

Instructors
Greeley Kyle is an award-winning broadcast journalist with 23 years of experience as an investigative reporter and senior correspondent. Kyle, who serves on the IRE contest committee, is a broadcast professor at the Missouri School of Journalism and a consultant for professionals. Stacey Woelfel has been news director of KOMU-TV News for more than 12 years. He is a regional director for the Radio-Television News Directors Association and a consultant for TV journalists in the United States and Europe.
Under the direction of professional news editors, you will go onto the streets of New York to produce a story for use on your resumé tape complete with interviews, reporter standup and natural sound.

Housing is available only for the July 7-11 workshop in an apartment-style dormitory on Williams Street (downtown, near Wall Street).
