I believe the IRE conference is the single best training and professional development opportunity for young journalists in the early stages of their careers. The presentations are relevant, the speakers outstanding and the tips immediately useful. If nothing else, IRE reinvigorates and inspires you to raise the bar in your reporting and writing.
