2006 CAR Conference • March 9-12 Conference News: More than 300 journalists attended this year's CAR Conference, featuring the presentation of the first Philip Meyer Awards, honoring stellar work done in the past year using social research methods in journalism. Journalists from around the world took advantage of a full slate of hands-on CAR classes, as well as panels on using CAR on nearly every beat, presented by top journalists. CAR beginners used our popular mini-boot camps to get a quick start on their CAR skills..
