This program provides a thorough briefing on developing an investigative state of mind, reporting on the quality of care at local hospitals, cultivating sources within the industry, tracking down health industry political contributions and hands-on training with federal and state datasets. The training is presented by The California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowships at USC's Annenberg School for Communication, in partnership with Investigative Reporters and Editors and the Knight Chair in Investigative & Enterprise Reporting at the University of Illinois.
