The Washington Department of Health is pursuing administrative charges against a state-licensed drug and alcohol treatment clinic after a King 5 investigation found accusations of bribery and falsified treatment reports at several clinics.

The clinics provide court-ordered treatment to people convicted of drug and alcohol-related crimes.

Charges brought by the department of health include bribery by a client featured in King 5’s investigation, a repeat DUI offender who hit and killed a woman while driving drunk in 1989.
