The Hartford Courant, a Pulitzer-prize winning publication, is seeking an editor to lead its investigative team.

At a time when the political establishment is becoming both more guarded and defiant, the need to demand accountability and transparency is critical. The leader of this effort will have a two-part mission: Lead a dedicated team while also working to elevate the investigative metabolism of reporters across the entire newsroom. The ideal candidate will have experience in investigative journalism and a passion for telling the stories that need to be told.

Job requirements include a minimum of five years reporting or editing experience at a news publication or web site, including experience in an online newsroom.
