Thomas Dail is a public affairs specialist at the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. He brings a dozen years of experience in newspapers and public relations to that job. Prior to joining the BEA, he covered politics and business for Freedom Communications in North Carolina. Dail holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
Robert Gebeloff has been a staff editor for data projects at The New York Times since 2008. He was a Pulitzer Prize finalist twice, and also once produced a 59-part Census series later published as the collection "Saginaw in the 1980s" @gebeloffnyt
Phil Kuntz is editor-at-large for computer-assisted reporting at Bloomberg News. Previously managing editor for worldwide government coverage. Also worked for the Wall Street Journal (as an investigative reporter and editor, assistant Washington bureau chief and deputy Money & Investing editor), Congressional Quarterly and the Miami Herald. Oversaw a Journal series on defense spending that won a Pulitzer Prize. Past work also recognized by the Gerald Loeb Awards, SPJ, IRE, the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting and SABEW. @PhilKuntz
