Speaker Bios

  • Jacky is an award winning interactive designer and developer currently working at the New York Times as a multimedia editor. Her work has been recognized by The Emmys, the Peabody Awards, The Society of News Design, Webbys and the Overseas Press Club. Before the Times, she was an interactive designer at MediaStorm, a multimedia producer for Condé Nast and an interactive designer with The Associated Press.

  • Mary Pilon is the author of “The Monopolists,” a New York Times bestseller about the history of the board game Monopoly, and the forthcoming “The Kevin Show". Pilon primarily writes about sports and business for the New Yorker, Esquire, Bloomberg BusinessWeek,New York magazine,Vice, and others. Pilon worked as a television producer for NBC at the Rio Olympics and she previously covered sports as a staff reporter for The Times and business for The Wall Street Journal.
