Speaker Bios

  • Alex Keefe is VPR's "All Things Considered" host and reporter. He comes to Vermont from Chicago, where he spent nearly five years at WBEZ, most recently as a political reporter. His radio feature reporting has won numerous regional and national awards, including from the National Headliner Club, the Society of Professional Journalists, the RTNDA and PRNDI.

  • Stewart Ledbetter is senior reporter for Vermont’s NBC stations & moderator of the weekly journalists' roundtable on Vermont PBS. Educated at Deerfield Academy and the University of Vermont, he's spent 30 thirty years in radio and TV as a political reporter, producer and anchor and newsroom manager. He's received numerous honors for his work, including a 2015 national Murrow and the 2015 Award for Distinguished Service from the Vermont Association of Broadcasters.
