Mikel Schaefer's the News Director at WVUE-FOX 8 in New Orleans. His career began 35 years ago working the overnight shift. From there he became a sports producer, assignment editor, executive producer and assistant news director before taking over the news director position at FOX 8 in 2008. Schaefer's been part of teams honored with two Peabody's, three Columbia duPont's and multiple national Edward R. Murrow awards, including Overall Excellence in 2013 at FOX 8.
Letitia Walker is the News Director for KATC, the ABC affiliate out of Lafayette, LA. She’s held the position for eleven years, which she was promoted to after working in various positions at the television station, including producer, reporter, and editor. She worked at several Louisiana TV stations, both in-front-of and behind- the-camera, after graduating from LSU in Baton Rouge with a degree in Mass Communications. @LetitiaWalker
