Ramon Escobar is CNN Worldwide’s Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion and Vice President for Talent Recruitment and Development. He is the network’s chief talent scout and coach. A media veteran with 27 years experience in news and entertainment in local, cable and network television as well as digital/new media. He has worked at NBC, Telemundo and was a consultant for ABC News, Discovery and many other content companies. He is a Missouri Journalism School Grad.
Lex Haris is Executive Editor of CNN Investigates, a new team that launched in February. Lex has been with CNN since 2001, and was most recently Executive Editor of CNNMoney.
Cheryl W. Thompson is IRE board president and an investigative correspondent for NPR. Prior to joining NPR in January, she spent 22 years at The Washington Post. Her investigations include local political corruption, cops killed by guns, witnesses killed for cooperating with police, people who died after being Tasered by police, and the unsolved murders of six black girls nearly 50 years ago. Her awards include a shared Pulitzer, an Emmy, IRE and two NABJ awards.
