Speaker Bios

  • Michael Hudson is a senior editor at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, where he has worked on ICIJ's World Bank and Panama Papers projects. A former Wall Street Journal reporter, Hudson is author of "The Monster: How a Gang of Predatory Lenders and Wall Street Bankers Fleeced America—and Spawned a Global Crisis" (Times Books, 2010). Columbia Journalism Review has called him the reporter “who beat the world on subprime abuses.”

  • Eryn Schornick is a policy advisor at on the anti-money laundering team at Global Witness, an international advocacy organization seeking to expose and break the links between natural resources corruption, conflict and other abuses. Her work has look at how investors, business, government contractors and other major stakeholders are exposed to financial and non-financial risk due to cases of corruption, fraud and theft facilitated by anonymous shell companies.

  • Mike Williams is Global Enterprise Editor at Reuters, where he has run the news agency's investigative and explanatory journalism since 2011. Previously, he worked at The Wall Street Journal, where he was Page One Editor, WSJ Europe editor and Tokyo Bureau Chief, among other gigs.
