We'll go over how to use OpenRefine for common data cleaning problems, such as parsing and cleaning names and addresses, combining and breaking apart fields and more as time allows.

She covered policing for six years at The Trace and New York Daily News, producing data-driven stories that led to more than 20 new laws. Her work has been the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service, two Sidney Awards, and the James Aronson Award for Social Justice Journalism.
