Ray Rivera is Managing Editor at The Seattle Times. He is a former staff reporter for The New York Times and The Washington Post and was the executive editor of the Santa Fe New Mexican. He is also the founder and chairman of Searchlight New Mexico, a nonprofit news organization. He lives in Seattle with his wife and three children.
