In this panel, we’ll discuss ways to revamp your newsroom reputation, change perceptions of your team and open up the lines of communication with your colleagues.
I'm a Computational Journalist at the Dallas Morning News, specializing in analysis and collection for data stories and investigations. Ryann Grochowski Jones is the data editor at ProPublica. Previously, she was deputy editor for data at ProPublica and a data reporter at inewsource in San Diego. She received her master's degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, where she was a data librarian for IRE/NICAR. Ryann began her career as a municipal beat reporter for her hometown newspaper in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. @ryanngro
Yan Wu is a news app designer and developer at NJ Advance media. She also worked at Reveal, The Boston Globe, Shenzhen Evening News. As a designer and developer turned data reporter she's interested in combining data, art with innovative ways of storytelling.
