Speaker Bios

  • Mark Berkey-Gerard (@mabege) is an associate professor and chair of the Journalism Department at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. He teaches undergraduate data journalism and digital reporting courses.

  • Dana Chinn is a lecturer at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism.  She focuses on data journalism,  the role of journalism in open data, and media metrics.  She is happiest when cleaning data. @danachinn
