Shaun Courtney is a senior reporter at Bloomberg Government. She covers congressional and regulatory news, about the Homeland Security Department and criminal justice reform. Courtney interned at The Washington Post and the Investigative Reporting Workshop through American University. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, Washington-Baltimore New Guild, and the Virginia Press Association. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and M.A. in Investigative Journalism from American University. Shaun lives in Northeast Capitol Hill with her husband and two sons. @scourtneydc
