Gwen Ragno

Gwen Ragno is a versatile writer, editor and digital strategist who has built her career around helping people and organizations tell their stories online. At IRE, she keeps our members informed on IRE news through our bi-weekly email newsletter, Quick Hits, and other email communications. She also helps share our organization's work with the world at large through our social media channels and website.

When she's not on duty with IRE, Gwen works as a copywriter and brand strategist for Roger That Agency, where she helps nonprofits and small businesses find their voices. In prior positions, she has managed digital communications for a major law firm, led digital marketing for a food tech startup, founded a regional food magazine, and managed niche publications for a local newspaper. As a freelance writer, she has had bylines in The Indianapolis Star, Chicago Magazine, Where Traveler and others. She's also known to help folks polish up their LinkedIn profiles when they're going through a career change (or existential crisis).

Gwen is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri - Columbia. When she's offline, she finds joy in books, board games and the outdoors.
