Job Summary

On Point Investigations is seeking an investigator for a part time position of 15 to 30 hours a week, working remotely and investigating corporate fraud by conducting interviews and writing in depth, detailed reports.

On Point, a private investigative agency based in the Boston area, investigates whistleblower cases, securities fraud, antitrust violations and consumer class actions. As it continues to grow, the firm is looking for additional associates to join our nationwide team in 2022.

Headed by a former reporter, On Point is one of the nation’s leading investigative firms, helping its clients return more than $1 billion is losses to shareholders, taxpayers and consumers over the past 20 years.

An ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of reporting experience, a bachelor’s degree and a proven track record of producing investigations, covering business or finance and conducting in depth interviews. Candidates with experience as forensic accountants, federal agents and intelligence gathering are also encouraged to apply.

The job entails working solo and in teams on cases digging into a variety of businesses and industries, from software technologies to pharmaceuticals. The job requires attention to detail, the ability to grasp complex subjects and masterful interviewing skills. The job also requires clear, crisp and precise writing.

This position is suitable for an enterprising, passionate and deadline driven individual who thrives on challenges and is comfortable with communicating with a manager on a regular daily basis with updates. Working remotely, the position requires self motivated diggers who are ethical, trustworthy and driven to succeed.
