Description

A Scripps Howard investigation found that when the City of Denver closed its old airport and opened its new one in Feb. 1995, the Federal Aviation Administration paid the personal moving costs of its employees who were transferred from Stapleton Airport to Denver International, which are 17 miles apart. Many of the employees, rather than moving to new homes closer to DIA, moved further away, but reimbursed anyway. (June - December, 1995)
