This investigation found the owner of a local company that does van conversions for people with disabilties had taken more than $160,000 of customers' money up front without ever delivering the converted vans. The investigation follows one grandmother who bought a new van for her paraplegic grandson, and paid VSI Mobility over $13,000 in advance for a conversion. The owner of VSI Mobility kept the new van for months but never did the work.
