Hank Nuwer

Bio
I have judged various SPJ awards contests going back the last six years. I owe IRE for assistance with my hazing research and database skills going back to ancient IRE boot camps with so many now-retired IRE greats. Right now, I write a column for the Cordova Times in Alaska, teach half-time at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks as adjunct, professor in journalism, and complete the final stage of a scholarly biography on Kurt Vonnegut. In other words, I may not be on the all-star team of journalists, but I feel I have contributed as a utility infielder for many years.
Thank you for reading this far.
