IRE Ottaway Fellowships provide assistance to attend an in-person Data Journalism Bootcamp taking place in Columbia, Missouri.
We will be offering the following data bootcamps in 2024, January 8-12, Google Sheets +SQL; March 25-29, Google Sheets Deep Dive, and August 5-9, Google Sheets +Python.
Established by David Ottaway and the Ottaway Family Fund, the Fellowship is aimed at increasing the diversity of IRE’s membership.
Journalists and educators of color. Students are not eligible.
If you wish to contribute to this fellowship, you can donate through IRE’s online donation form and indicate the name of the fund in the form.
