Editor/Reporter

Investigative Post, a non-profit investigative reporting center in Buffalo, N.Y., is seeking an experienced investigative reporter with administrative skills and a collaborative touch to help build a newsroom and innovative program with local universities.

Job duties include reporting, editing and developing networked beats in collaboration with university journalism programs and other academic departments.

We're looking for a smart, creative journalist with at least 10 years of experience producing high-impact coverage. Computer assisted reporting skills a must. Digital story telling and social media skills preferred. Experience in academia helpful, but not necessary.

Investigative Post distributes across multiple platforms via partnerships with print, television and radio outlets, as well as through its website. Also has numerous partnerships with regional journalism schools.
