Investigative Producer

Responsibilities:

Conceive and generate relevant, compelling investigative news content focused on consumer protection and problem-solving for all KDVR and KWGN broadcast and digital platforms.
Research, shoot, write and produce packages in collaboration with reporters, videographers and editors.
Contribute unique, distinctive elements to breaking news and major event coverage.

Qualifications:

Must be proficient in computer-assisted reporting, database analysis, spreadsheet programs and other technology-based information-gathering.
Expertise in hidden-camera and other undercover and surveillance procedures and techniques.
Familiarity with social media and other digital content distribution and production tools.
Minimum of seven years broadcast journalism/television production experience, including at least two years in investigative and/or consumer news.
