All year long we hear stories about how IRE & NICAR has made a difference in our members’ lives. From skill development to story ideas and mentorship, we’ve seen first-hand the power of a global network of more than 5,000 watchdogs. 

As part of our #IREstrong donation campaign, we’re looking to share the faces and success stories of our members. Here’s a simple way you can help:

Take a photo of yourself holding a sign that says #IREstrong. Then tweet it (don’t forget the hashtag) or email the image to web@ire.org. Feel free to tell us how IRE has made a difference in your career.

Have fun with this! Get your friends, family and colleagues involved. Take a selfie, a group photo or pose with your friends. We’d love to see you in your newsrooms or in front of a landmark that’s significant to your community or coverage area. The more creative, the better!
