Session description: That local crime story you’re working on may very well have ties to global organized criminal networks. Using a recent large investigation as an example, panelists from the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project will talk about the transnational infrastructure that makes criminals so powerful, why law enforcement is largely powerless, and why it is up to journalists to connect the dots to expose organized crime.
