Description

The story uncovers evidence that an Idaho death row inmate probably didn't commit the crime he's accused of. This story differs from the usual jail cell claims of innocence in that there is hard, physical evidence supporting the inmate's claim. Further, the story dug up evidence that the man who did the autopsy, Oregon's former state medical examiner, told different stories in the trials fo different defendants, and taht his version of events did not square with the evidence at the scene.
