Once you've signed up for IRE24, you can register for conference master classes and hands-on trainings that require additional pre-registration.Â

Thompson (NPR) and Scott Zamost (CNBC), "Outlining and structure: The writer's missing manual," with Matt Apuzzo (The New York Times), "Backstopping the data-driven investigation" with Maud Beelman (ASU) and Jennifer LaFleur (USC), "Web scraping with Python" with Cody Winchester, (IRE & NICAR)Â and more.Â
These classes are first-come, first-serve. So, register while seats are still available.

For the first time, those planning to attend IRE24 have access to discounts from Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines, thanks to the dogged persistence of IRE Board President Brian M. Rosenthal and Affordability Task Force Chair Mark Katches. This year's conference is June 20-23 in Anaheim, California.
There's a wide range of discounts depending on the fare category, from 2 percent for the lowest fares up to 25 percent for international travelers on Delta flights. Some restrictions apply, but the discounts are available a few days before and after the conference. For full details, check out the news release.
