Block Club Chicago is seeking an enterprising investigative editor to help manage and lead its investigative team, the Watch.
Block Club is a nonprofit newsroom focused on the city’s diverse neighborhoods. We launched the Watch in 2023 to expand our award-winning journalism by digging deeper into the people and institutions that shape — and often exploit — communities across Chicago. This team covers the whole city while paying extra attention to neighborhoods on the South and West sides.
