Elevate your investigative and data skills by joining IRE for a day of professional development training in Dallas at the University of North Texas, Dallas.

This workshop will have something for everyone — whether you're a reporter, student, editor, educator, producer, freelancer or all of the above and then some — you'll be guaranteed a plethora of new tips, tricks, and skills for your tool belt, ideas for your next story, and connections with some of the top investigative and data journalists in the country.

The workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025.

Workshop Fees

Registration for professional, academic, retiree and associate members is just $50 (requires current, active IRE membership)
Student members can register for $25 (requires current, active IRE membership).

All attendees must be current IRE members through November 9, 2025. To purchase tickets, you must be logged into your member profile.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be sent via email to logistics@ire.org. All cancellations must be in writing. There is a $30 processing fee for all cancellations until October 31. After that date, requests for refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Recording Notice

All IRE events are subject to being photographed, video/audio-recorded, screen captured and/or live-streamed. Attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors may be captured via these formats. All sessions, materials and activities are subject to recording by IRE and may be reproduced in part or whole, and distributed or used in any way consistent with IRE’s mission.
